Computer Courses

What: Lexington 1 Adult Education offers the following computer courses:

Basic Computers and Internet -- A course for those unfamiliar with computing or surfing the web.

Microsoft Word -- A short course in using the Word program from the Microsoft Office 2007/2010 suite.

Microsoft Excel -- A short course in using the Excel program from the Microsoft Office 2007/2010 suite.

Microsoft PowerPoint -- A short course in using the PowerPoint program from the Microsoft Office 2007/2010 suite.

24 Hour Short Course (2003 Version) -- A short course in using the Computer, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel programs from the Microsoft Office 2003 suite.[Offered occasionally; call or e-mail to find out when the next class is scheduled.]

Each one of these courses is three hours in length and is completed in one evening. The classes will be held in rotation. Here is the currently planned schedule:

When:  These courses will be offered on Thursday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Where:  These courses are held at the Rosenwald Community Learning Center in Room 4. The Rosenwald Community Learning Center (the Old Intermediate School) is located at 420 Hendrix St. in Lexington. Please come to the west wing to enter (on your left hand as you face the school).
