What: Lexington 1 Adult Education offers the following computer courses:
Basic Computers and Internet -- A course for those unfamiliar with computing or surfing the web.
Microsoft Word -- A short course in using the Word program from the Microsoft Office 2007 suite.
Microsoft Excel -- A short course in using the Excel program from the Microsoft Office 2007 suite.
Microsoft PowerPoint -- A short course in using the PowerPoint program from the Microsoft Office 2007 suite.
Web Design -- A short course in creating web pages.
24 Hour Short Course (2003 Version) -- A short course in using the Computer, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel programs from the Microsoft Office 2003 suite.[Offered occasionally; call or e-mail to find out when the next class is scheduled.]
Each one of these courses is three hours in length and is completed in one evening. The classes will be held in rotation. Here is the currently planned schedule:
March 8th: Microsoft PowerPoint
March 15th: Web Design
March 22nd: No Class (USC Baseball!)
March 29th: Computer Basics
April 5th: Microsoft Word
April 12th: Microsoft Excel
April 19th: Microsoft PowerPoint
April 26th: No Class (USC Baseball!)
May 3rd: Web Design
May 10th: Computer Basics
May 17th: No Class (USC Baseball!)
May 24th: Microsoft Word
May 31st: Microsoft Excel
June 7th: Summer Break

When: These courses will be offered on Thursday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
