Ideas Needed for Family Night's "RePurpose Showcase"
Do you have a creative way to reuse a household item? We are looking for ideas to highlight in our "Repurpose Showcase" display during our upcoming Family Literacy Night. You may submit your idea(s) to Shon Smith or Colleen Pelley. Describe how you reuse/repurpose items in your home, school, or at work. Submit your idea(s) on a blank
8 1/2x11 white sheet of paper with a picture or drawing. Better yet, bring an example to display in our showcase.
Please write your name and telephone number on the back side of the paper so we may contact you. Remember, simple and practical ideas are great! Something that is easy to do can catch on pretty quickly and make a big difference in our environment. If you have any questions, call Colleen Pelley or Shon Smith at 821-1600 or
e-mail them at: cpelley@lexington1.net or SFSmith@lexington1.net

School Safe Shoes!
Nurse Clarke asks that students please wear school safe shoes EVERYDAY. Save the flip-flops for home. There have been numerous injuries to students' feet and other body parts. The best shoes for school are tennis shoes.
