    Looking For Volunteers

Gilbert Primary PTA is always looking for volunteers. If you have some free time, consider volunteering at our school. Teachers always have projects for us to work on such as laminating, copying, putting packets together, and much more. Having volunteers do this gives our teachers the opportunity to get other things accomplished. Sign in at the front office and wear your volunteer badge. For more information, contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Shanna McGee at 821-1400.

    Gilbert D.O.G.S.
    Dads Of Gilbert Students

Gilbert D.O.G.S. is an innovative program focusing on the prevention of violence in schools by using the positive influence of fathers for a two-fold purpose: (1)to provide an unobtrusive security presence, and (2)to provide a positive and active role-model for children at school. Fathers, stepfathers, and grandfathers are asked to spend time volunteering as security monitors, reading mentors, sports referees, listening ears, or for whatever needs to be done to plant seeds of success in the lives of children.

The Gilbert D.O.G.S. have helped with Back to School Night, the Fall Health & Safety Fair, Flower Sale, and Field Days. If you are interested, contact Roy Turner at 821-1400.
