PowerSchool








The following lists describe the environments supported for using PowerSchool. If you are having issues, please ensure your device has a supported environment.

LAPTOPS AND PERSONAL COMPUTERS

Windows 7

  • Internet Explorer 11 (Traditional and Metro)
  • Latest two versions of Firefox (including most current ESR release)
  • Latest two versions of Chrome

Windows 8.1

  • Internet Explorer 11 (Traditional and Metro)
  • Latest two versions of Firefox (including most current ESR release)
  • Latest two versions of Chrome

Windows 10

  • Internet Explorer 11 (Traditional and Metro), Edge Browser
  • Latest two versions of Firefox (including most current ESR release)
  • Latest two versions of Chrome

Mac OS X 10.9

  • Safari 7
  • Latest two versions of Firefox (including most current ESR release)
  • Latest two versions of Chrome

Mac OS X 10.10

  • Safari 8
  • Latest two versions of Firefox (including most current ESR release)
  • Latest two versions of Chrome

Mac OS X 10.11

  • Safari 9

Chromebook (except PowerTeacher Gradebook and ReportWorks)

Java

  • Powerschool 9.x requires Java Client version 8.0.
  • Java Client 7 and below are no longer supported

Tablets

  • Apple iPad Mini - iOS7 or greater
  • Apple iPad iOS 7 or greater; all generations
  • 7"-10" Android tablets - Android 2.3.3 or greater; 1024x768 minimum resolution
  • Microsoft Surface Tablets - Windows 8 or greater; 1024x768 minimum resolution
  • Amazon Kindle Fire and Barnes & Noble Nook are currently not supported.

Issues

  • PowerSchool has identified a connection issue while using the PowerSchool Mobile App for Android devices running Marshmallow version 6.0.1. At this time, the only work-around is to use the Mobile Web Pages at https://powerschool.lexington1.net/public/home.html to access the Parent/Student Portal.
