Mar 21 2018

Lexington District One’s Work–Based Learning Coordinator and Career Specialists will offer four 2018 summer camps to district middle and high school students.

All camps take place at Lexington Technology Center, Monday–Thursday, June 11–14, 2018. On Monday through Wednesday, the camps start at 8:30 a.m. and end at 3:30 p.m. On Thursday, the camps start at 8:30 a.m. and end at 12:00 p.m.

Each camp is open to a specific age group, includes lunch and field study opportunities, and is limited 20 students per camp.

The cost to participate in a camp is $25.00 per person.

Registration
These summer camps are extremely popular. In order to make sure that all interested students have an equal opportunity to participate, the district will use a random lottery to conduct registration.

The lottery opens on Wednesday, April 18, at 9:00 a.m. and closes on Friday, April 20, at 5:00 p.m.

If the camp is not full after April 20th at 5:00 p.m., all students who registered are guaranteed a spot in the camp and registration will remain open until all 20 spots are filled.

After the lottery, you will receive an email stating whether your student was selected by the random lottery or put on a waiting list. If your student is put on a waiting list, you will also receive further instructions.
