It is time to apply for the SC Seal of Biliteracy. Contact your ESOL teacher or any World Language teacher for more details.
The SC Seal of Biliteracy certifies that students have attained a level of biliteracy that should be recognized by colleges, universities and employers.
Who is Eligible in Lexington One?
Juniors and seniors who rate Intermediate Mid or above on a language other than English on the STAMP assessment or Alira (Latin) Assessment, and who also maintain either a 3.0 GPA in ELA, or score an overall score of 4.0 on the ACCESS 2.0 English Proficiency Test.
Students do not have to be enrolled in ESOL or World Languages to apply.
