Many of you participated in or will participate in Lexington County School District One’s adaptive strategic planning process. If you are unfamiliar with the adaptive strategic planning process, you can read about it here in the last Inside Voice.
You may have watched a 12-minute-long clip of a film called “Most Likely To Succeed” and talked about what you believe students need to know and be able to do to thrive in the future.
You may have shared your hopes and fears for students and the education process or worked to define the character, relationships, knowledge and skills that you believe are important.
Thank you for your work on this. As the district continues to involve our Board of Trustees, staff, students, parents, business leaders and community members in these important conversations, we invite you to follow along.
If you’d like, join us when we hold two screenings of the film “Most Likely To Succeed” on Thursday, Feb. 22, at 6:30 p.m. in the Lexington Middle School Theatre and White Knoll High School Auditorium.
Dr. Greg Little talks about the district’s adaptive strategic planning process in his latest Little Thoughts Big Dreams.
Let us know if you have any questions about the strategic planning process.
