Midway Elementary has met Southern Association of Colleges and Schools accreditation since its opening in 1994.

Our school was the first in South Carolina to be named to Governor Hodges’ Reading Honor Roll (4/3/2000).

In the fall of 2000, Midway was named one of the first schools in Lexington School District One to receive recognition as a “School of Promise.”
