Great place to go to begin a search.  This engine allows you to type in a question.

Discus

This engine has many categories that allows you to search magazines, newspapers, and other sources that you may usually overlook. 

Google Search Engine

Try this engine for images especially.  Don't forget to select the tag labeled IMAGES.

Center for Disease Control

This site is a must when working on your microbiology disease research.  Just type in your disease and learn.
