Advisor Biography


The Advisor, Frank Stover, is a 1977 graduate of Pelion High School. He received a BS degree in Agricultural Education from Clemson University in 1981 and a Masters in Agricultural Education in 1986. Frank Stover has taken numerous classes offered by Lexington School District One teaching the use of new technology. Frank Stover has been a member of SCAAE and NAAE since he began teaching in 1981. During that time, he has served as an officer of the SCAAE numerous times, serving as region Vice President four times. He has served two times as a member of both the State FFA Advisory Board and a member of the South Carolina FFA Foundation Board. Frank Stover has received numerous awards during his 26 years of teaching, the highlight of which was being named South Carolina Outstanding Agricultural Educator of the Year in 2005. During his years at Pelion High School, his students have won numerous awards through the FFA.
