Announcements 2007-2008 Robotics Tournament Season Concluded
The PMS Power Panther Robotics Team finished the 2007-2008 Power Puzzle season strong including a visit to the Murray Lake Dam, two tournaments including state, and placed first for technical robotics design in the Aiken regional qualifier in January. Over the season the team explored the current power and energy issues we face globally together with involved family, educators, and technical professionals. In addition to solving robotics power/energy related missions, the team built a wave turbine generator with a dual valve positive displacement to produce constant airflow whether waves rise or fall, and designed a self-correcting turbine blade using ultrasonic sensing to produce constant air pressure to drive that turbine. It was a season of building one another up, learning, and having fun. We are very grateful to all of those who invested in this FLL robotics program. Please contact PMS or Mr. Leneschmidt for more information regarding getting involved with robotics.
