Hello, my name is John Geanangel and I am a Technology Integration Specialist at Red Bank Elementary in Lexington, SC.
Rationale:
Web2.0 is changing the way we use computers. The technology behind the applications is getting easier and easier. Anyone who can type and send an email can now contribute and interact via new web-based applications. These applications are being developed
at an exponential pace and it is nearly impossible for the average person to keep up. My intent with this project is to share my experience and the tools I use with other
educators in an effort to save some time and effort on their part as they discover and integrate new tools into their instruction, administration, and professional development. There is no way I will ever even come close to covering everything that is out there, but what I hope to do is share those resources I find useful.
Those who know me, know that I am consistently promoting collaboration and sharing. This effort is my way of doing just that...
Method:
I am using OpenMind2 to create and edit this project. Although it is not an example of Web2.0 technology I have yet to find anything as useful and efficient at organizing and sharing information. Once I get the backbone created I will export to html and ftp
to a website. I will use my Web2pid blog to share the project, however, it will always be a work in progress.
