What are network
drives? What is the difference in a network
drive and the drives only on my computer?

Any files you save on the C: drive can ONLY be accessed from
that particular computer.
Any files you save on the network can be accessed from any
computer in the school as long as you are "logged
in" as yourself.

How do I make a folder to organize my files?

- Open My Computer.
- Double click the drive on which you want to make a folder.
- Click File on the top menu bar, then New,
then Folder.
- Name your
folder. (right click on the folder to
rename)

Find your folder or file
- Right
click on the file or folder you wish to rename
- Click "Rename" on
the side pop-up menu.
- Type the new name and press the Enter key.

How do I move files into a folder?
|
Right click and
drag the file into the folder. Choose either "move
here" or "copy here".
You can also left click, drag, and drop the file
into the folder; however you will not have a choice of moving
or copying – it automatically just moves the file.
