How to Create Activities

Click the Activities page button. =
Select the Create tab to open the Create page.
Add content to your activity based= on either Riverdeep’s Scope and Sequence or your state’s educational standards.

Near the to= p of the Select Activities screen, click the circle next to RiverdeepR= 17;s Scope and Sequence.
A list appe= ars on screen, displaying the available subjects (such as Math) and products (such as Destination Math).
A blue arrow appears to the left of each product. Click this arrow to see the cou= rses contained within the product.
Whenever yo= u see a right-pointing arrow, you can click it to break a content listing = down into smaller pieces. You can break a course down into its modules; a module down into its units; a unit down into its sessions; a session down into its lessons, tutorials, practice areas, and/or workouts; a= nd a lesson or tutorial into its individual screens.
Add content= (a course, module, unit, session, lesson, tutorial, practice area, work= out, or screen) to your Activity, clicking the checkbox next to its listi= ng. You can add as many items as you want to each Activity. <= /span>
To remove content, click the checkbox a second time so that the check mark disappears.
Click the N= ext button near the top right corner of the screen to move to the preview page.
To preview a tutorial, lesson, practice area, workout, or screen, select its list= ing, and then click the Preview button near the top right corner of the screen.

Near the to= p of the screen, click the circle next to State Standards.
Select your= state from the State Standards pull-down menu.

A blue arrow button appears to the left of the standard. Click this arrow to see = the categories within the standard.
Whenever yo= u see a right-pointing arrow, you can click it to break a listing down into smaller pieces.
When you se= e a standard you’d like to cover in your activity, click the check= box next to its listing. You can add as much or as little content as you like—anything from a full strand of a standard all the way dow= n to a small portion of the strand. Add as many items to your activity as= you like.
To remove content, click the checkbox a second time so that the check mark disappears.
Click the N= ext button near the top right corner of the screen to move to the preview page.
To preview a tutorial, lesson, practice area, workout, or screen, select its list= ing, then click the Preview button near the top right corner of the scree= n.

When you have finished adding cont= ent to the activity, click the Next button located in the upper right corn= er of the screen beneath the navigation bar.
Specify the activity name and the folder in which it should be stored.
Click the Save button. =
To assign the activity right away, click the Yes button. Otherwise, click the No button.
