Author(s): Burkett, Herndon, & Geanangel
Content Area(s): Art/Language Arts
Grade Level: Primary and Elementary
Lesson Description: Students choose two colors. Starting with one color, they brainstorm ideas, pictures, thoughts, etc. related to that color. Eventually they should work their thoughts around to their second color. Why is blue so yellow? Inspiration software is used for students to make a web that graphically shows their creative thought process. Each individual's web can be exported as a .jpeg and imported into a class PowerPoint show. Students give an oral presentation of their slide, or each students' narration can be recorded in the PowerPoint show.
