Process

1.  The student completing task one will need to research about each landform and take notes on the characteristics of each landform.  Those notes will be used to create PowerPoint slides on the characteristics of each landform.  In essence, this student will be creating a dictionary with five entries--one on each of the different kind of SC landforms. The student will need to find pictures of each landform on Internet or by scanning them from books, magazines, etc.  Each slide on a landform should contain at least one picture of a characteristic of that landform.

2.  The student completing the second task will need to research to determine what forces created each SC landform.  The student will use his/her notes to complete PowerPoint slides explaining the forces that created each landform. The student should include on each slide an illustration found from Internet, scanned from a book or magazine, one drawn by the student and scanned into digital form, or an illustration created by the student using a computer based drawing application.

3.  The student completing the third task may used a computer based drawing application or art materials to create the model.  The model must have an explanatory title, and a paragraph explaining what the model and landform represent.

4.  The student completing the third task may use a computer based drawing application or art materials to create the model.  The model must have an explanatory title, and a paragraph explaining what the model and landform represent.

5.  The student completing the fifth task will create PowerPoint slides of the poem or story and illustrate it.
