Task

Your task is to work in groups of five (if possible) to research the South Carolina five landforms.
Each person within the group will be given a specific task to complete.  Once that task has been completed, the student must develop PowerPoint slides to be part of a PowerPoint presentation developed by the entire group on South Carolina landforms.

First Task:  Develop PowerPoint slides that explain the characteristics of all five landforms.

Second Task:  Develop PowerPoint slides that explain whether constructive forces, destructive forces, or both forces created each of these landforms

Third Task: Develop a model of constructive force(s) that created a SC landform.  This model may be a three-dimensional model created with art materials such as modeling clay or one created with a computer program such as paint.  Name the landform and type out a explanation of how the force created that landform.  If a three-dimensional model, take a digital picture of the model and include the picture as well as an explanation of the model in the PowerPoint.

Fourth Task:
Develop a model of a destructive force(s) that created a SC landform:  This model may be a three-dimensional model created with art materials such as modeling clay or one created with a computer program such as paint.  Name the landform and type out a explanation of how the force created that landform.  If a three-dimensional model, take a digital picture of the model and include the picture as well as an explanation of the model in the PowerPoint.

Fifth Task:  Create a poem or story about one or more of the SC landforms.  Include it, with accompanying graphics, in the PowerPoint.

If one or more team members complete their tasks earlier than the others, they may work to add extra information, graphics, etc. to the PowerPoint.
