Disney
was one of the most famous people in history. Walter Disney was born
on December 5,1901 in Chicago, Illinois. He lived with four other
siblings. His mother's name was Flora Disney. His father's
name was Elias Disney.
Disney attended McKinely High School. He never graduated high school,
but instead dropped out! He decided to go to art schools rather than finishing
high school. He went to Kansas City to enroll in their art institute.
This time, he graduated and went home to his family in Chicago. Even
there, he enrolled in the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts.
Disney
died on December 15,1966. His death was in Burbank, California.
The last years of his life were spent releasing full-length films.
A few years before his death, he opened an amusement park in California
that we all know as Disney Land. Even though many people around the
world still enjoy his magic, they missed the cheerful man who made dreams
come true. It was a sad day in history when Walter Elias Disney died.
