We are diligently working to raise funds to replace the old playground equipment on the main playground with the unit you see pictured above. This is a major undertaking and purchase. The general membership has approved a $28,000 budget to purchase and install this playground set. We had great expectations to move forward with this purchase after the initial fundraiser with Innisbrook. The results were not as profitable as we had hoped. We truly appreciate the efforts that our families put forth to achieve the $15,000 profits raised from that fundraiser. We’ve submitted for a grant to help us with a portion of the additional funds needed. If you would like to donate directly to the playground fund, please submit a check to the WKE PTA marked donation for playground fund. |

Once we accomplish the goal of replacing the playground equipment, we will turn our focus to a new sign to replace the unit pictured to the left that is out front now. We want to place a new digital sign and the general membership has approved a $25,000 budget towards the sign. We will begin a fund project for this goal to be accomplished at a later date. |
