Most Used Technology Resources
Analysis:
Everyone seems to be very comfortable using email and resources on the shared T drive. It also appears that Unitedstreaming is being fairly well used.
Action Plan:
I plan to continue training one-by-one on the use of Diigo, our online bookmarking tool. I truly believe that saving and sharing our best Internet sites is one of the most effective ways we can collaborate to improve instruction. There are so many excellent
resources available online, but most teachers don't have time to search for them. If we share what we find, it will save time for everyone, and those resources will always be readily
accessible.
Quia is another wonderful resource that allows you to create fun instructional games. These could be linked to your Lex-Connect page to provide extra study materials for your students to use from home.
Unitedstreaming has many more resources than just videos. I'd like to explore some of the other features with you.
Our media specialist is planning to offer a staff development session soon on the use of DISCUS. As teachers begin focusing on research projects this semester, this online resource will be very useful.
