Founded in 1999, Lake Murray Elementary School is known for having
a rigorous teaching and collaborative learning environment that encourages all
students to aspire to be their very best while celebrating their individual successes.
Our school mission statement is "Anchored in Leadership, Anchored in Learning."
This is achieved by promoting leadership development, academic growth
and collaborative relationships between students and staff.
Lake Murray Elementary was honored to be named a 2019 - 2020 National Blue Ribbon School.
In 2020 Lake Murray Elementary also received certification as a Common Sense Media School Partner.
In September of 2021 Lake Murray Elementary was named a nationally recognized Special Olympics Unified Champion school.
