English Language Arts

I grew up in Southwest Georgia on Bermuda Plantation; my Dad was a hard-working farmer and my Mom a hard-working mother of three. I attended Valdosta State University on the Georgia/Florida line and graduated with a Bachelors's Degree in Speech Communications and Public Relations. I then attended Georgia Southwestern in Americus, Georgia, where I obtained my Middle School Level Teacher's Degree. Next, I moved to St. Simons Island, Georgia, where I met my husband, Tommy, taught for four years, was a waitress, and after several years, moved to Lexington. I have two daughters (Garrett-24 and Greta-20) that both attend USC. If you're a dancer, Garrett can be found a lot up at South Carolina Dance Company, where she is a dance instructor. She has coached dance at River Bluff High School and will also help coach at Pleasant Hill Middle this year. Greta is working full time on her Exercise Science Degree. And, I can't forget our two fur babies: Bri (14) and Blakely (3).

HOBBIES: *I love to read and write! I'm very serious about both and LOVE teaching both as well! Puns and Creativity are my thing! *I love to socialize! *I love the Gulf Coast of Florida, where I spent my childhood, teen years, beyond, and now, visiting and maybe will retire to some day...or St. Simons Island. *I love traveling! *I love my Family and Friends!
