Mrs. Dent has twenty-one years of teaching experience and has been a Technology Integration Specialist and Digital Learning Coach in Lexington District One for 13 years.  She holds a Bachelors of Music degree from Winthrop University, Masters of Technology in Education from Lesley University and  Master of Science in Education from Wilkes University.  She has served on the SC Leadership Council for the Discovery Educator Network for 8 years and has been selected to attend 6 different Discovery Leadership Summer Institutes where she had the opportunity to learn and collaborate with educational technology leaders such as Kathy Schrock, Michael Wesch, and Alan November. Collaboration is what she does best. She works with students, teachers, and parents to blend innovative, digital tools into the classroom and provides support for the districts learning platform, Schoology. She looks forward to assisting MGM students and seeing what amazing creations they can design to show their learning!
