PERSONAL:
I am honored to be named the Principal of Gilbert High School and humbled to serve the faculty, staff, students, parents, and community.  Throughout my career of over twenty years, I have proactively led successful teams as an educational leader and business professional.  Serving as a leader for all these years, I have grown to cherish the opportunities in helping others and therefore I try to always be a positive influence in the lives of those around me.  On a personal note, I am privileged to be married to my best friend, Jennie, and we have four amazing children who are the center of our world.  As hobbies, I enjoy being an outdoorsman, DIY projects, and times around the campfire with friends and family.

Personal:
Mr. Tillmon is a 1992 graduate of Brookland-Cayce High School and a 1997 graduate of Newberry College with a B.S. in Business Administration and a Masters in Administration and Supervision from Liberty University.  Mr. Tillmon began his career in Lexington School District One at White Knoll High School when they opened in 2000.  Mr. Tillmon served as a teacher in the CATE Business Department at White Knoll High School.  He was also assistant football and baseball coach.  Mr. Tillmon accepted a position at River Bluff High School when it opened.  In 2018, Mr. Tillmon accepted a position at Irmo High School as Administrative Assistant Principal.  This is his 23rd year in education and 4th year as an Administrator.  Mr. Tillmon lives in Lexington with his spouse Jennifer and their four children Brandon, Madison, Marley and Macey.  He is an avid Atlanta Braves and Dallas Cowboys fan.

Personal:
I am originally from Toledo, Ohio.  I moved to South Carolina to begin my teaching career and have since made South Carolina my home.  I am married to Bryson, fellow Lex1 employee and Pelion High School Assistant Principal.  Together we have two sons, Brady and Baylor.

Before arriving at GHS, Ryan served as a school administrator at Carolina Springs Middle School for six years and a computer science teacher at Pleasant Hill Middle School for ten years. He grew up in Nashville, Tennessee and is a fan of the Vanderbilt Commodores. In his spare time, he likes to play soccer, fish and go paddle boarding.

Mrs. Jennifer Adams

I am beginning my second year as the Director of Counseling at Gilbert High School. I have been a school counselor in Lexington One for 16 years. My husband, Ritch, is an administrator in Lexington District One. I have one daughter, two sons, two dogs, and two cats, so there is rarely a quiet moment in the Adams family. When not at Gilbert High School, you will find me cheering for my boys at a basketball game, visiting my daughter at USC Beaufort, spending time on the lake, or cheering on my Carolina Gamecocks.
