Dr. Christen Thomas-Legette
My name is Dr. Christen Thomas-Legette, I am a native of Florence, South Carolina. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Winthrop University in Family and Consumer Science with a concentration in Youth Issues. I earned my Master of Science degree from Kaplan University (April, 2016) with an emphasis in Educational Leadership. I earned my Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University (July 2022) with an emphasis in K-12 Education.
This is my eleventh year teaching Family and Consumer Science on the middle school level. My prior teaching experience consists of teaching Food and Nutrition at Kingstree Senior High, Child Development at Hartsville High School, and Introductory Family and Consumer Science at Southside Middle School. This upcoming year will be my fifteenth year teaching in the classroom.
