I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Sociology and completed Post Bachelor studies at East Carolina University in Teacher Education. I have graduate degrees in Child Psychology, School Psychology and Counseling from Radford University and Virginia Tech.

I have many hobbies that keep me busy. I am an avid runner and yoga devotee. I love reading novels and historical fiction, traveling and music. Most importantly, I love spending time with my family and friends. This year I am working with self-contained students in the 6-7th grades.
