Bike-A-Thon Success!

A huge shout-out to all our amazing students, families, and staff who participated in the GES PTO Bike-A-Thon this past Saturday! Your enthusiasm and energy were contagious, and it was a fantastic way to raise funds for our school. We saw so many smiles as students enjoyed riding bikes, scooters, and other wheeled rides.

i-Ready Spring Testing Continues

This week, our students will continue taking the i-Ready Spring Benchmark Assessments. These assessments help us measure student growth and target areas for additional support.  Teachers will be available to answer any questions you may have.

Science Fair Spectacular!

Calling all future scientists! This week, we'll be showcasing some amazing student work at our annual Science Fair! Mark your calendars:

• Tuesday, April 23rd - 1:15 PM: 3rd Grade Science Fair (Library)

• Wednesday, April 24th - 1:15 PM: 4th Grade Science Fair (Library)

• Thursday, April 25th - 8:00 AM: 5th Grade Science Fair (Cafeteria) - Displays will be on view throughout the morning.

Screaming for Success: Pep Rally!

Get ready to cheer loud! This Thursday, we're having a special pep rally for our 3rd-5th grade students to pump them up and prepare them for upcoming state testing. We'll have music, games, and lots of school spirit!

Relay for Life Fundraiser Continues!

Help us support the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life! All week long, we'll be collecting change in classrooms. Every dollar counts in the fight against cancer! Here's an extra incentive:

• For every $100 collected, Mr. Deyo or Mr. Garner will take a pie in the face during the morning news show!

• 4K Application and 5K Enrollment  is open - spread the word to friends and neighbors so we can continue planning for next school year.

• Car Line Reminders & Visitor Information: For student safety, please adhere to the car line procedures outlined in previous emails. When visiting the school, please use the doorbell and follow entry procedures.

Our current Average Daily Attendance Rate for this past Friday was 93.14%.  We moved in the right direction a little bit from the previous week!  We are inching closer to our goal of 95%.  Help us meet our goal as we close out the year!  When healthy, thank you for ensuring that our students are here each day and taking advantage of the opportunities to learn that we have here at GES!  Every single day makes such a difference!!!!
