I am coming home to Lexington District One after beginning my career here 10 years ago and am so excited to be part of the MGM family! I taught at SGES for two years from 2012-2014, before transferring to Deerfield Elementary School, where I taught fifth grade and served as team leader until 2015. In 2015, I began working at the University of South Carolina in the College of Education as a university supervisor and also served as the Associate Director of Clinical Experiences. My primary role included overseeing the placement of early childhood and elementary majors in their various clinical experiences. Additionally, I taught various early childhood and elementary education courses and served as a University 101 instructor. Currently, I'm pursuing my Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction. I love to support new teachers and think teaching is the most important profession in the world! My husband, Roy, and two boys, Will and Brody.
