I am so excited to be a part of the Beechwood Middle family after being an elementary educator for 25 years.   I am a graduate of UNC-Charlotte with a degree in K-6 Education. I earned my master’s degree from Southern Wesleyan in 2009 and have achieved National Board Certification in Middle Childhood.   In addition, I completed 30+ graduate hours in educational technology in 2017. I am also endorsed in Gifted and Talented Education.   

I am married to Tim, and we have three children: Hannah, Hayden, and Hailey.  Our family loves to take trips to Disney World, visit the beach, and spend time with family and friends.  I enjoy watching college sports, reading for fun, photography, dancing, being outside by the pool, and shopping.
