I am honored and excited to be a Bengal at Beechwood Middle School!  In addition to teaching seventh-grade science, I am a sponsor for the BMS Student Council.  I began my teaching career in 2007-2008 at Ooltewah Middle School in sixth-grade science. My family and I moved from Tennessee to Mississippi to South Carolina and are happy to call Lexington our home. I have also taught 8th-grade science at Pleasant Hill Middle School. I graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Education and went on to get my Master of Science in Education. My SC endorsements include 5-8 grade science, math, ELA, and social studies with Highly Qualified Status in science.  On evenings, weekends, and during the summers, my family and I enjoy going to see movies at the drive-in, traveling, and trying new experiences.
