I am originally from Lexington and began teaching middle school in 2011.  This year I will be teaching 8th Grade PreAlgebra and Algebra 1. I received my B.A. in Middle-Level Education with concentrations in mathematics and Social Studies from Columbia College. I then went on to complete my Master’s of Education in Educational Administration from the University of South Carolina. I previously taught at Pleasant Hill Middle School for six years in both seventh and eighth grade. My husband and I have two children, Jaid and Jaxon. In my free time I enjoy reading, traveling, spending time with my husband and kids, and playing with our Boston Terrier, Minnie. I look forward to getting to know many of you this year!
