I have been teaching since 2004.  I taught ELA at White Knoll Middle and ELA and social studies at Carolina Springs Middle prior to moving to Beechwood.  I have undergraduate degrees in history and English and a graduate degree in secondary leadership, all from the University of South Carolina.  I am also endorsed in Gifted and Talented Education. I am originally from “across the river” in Richland County, where I attended Richland Northeast High School. I spend my free time reading, keeping up with current events, and doing anything outdoors.  I love my job!
