Stobo VanHorne
I graduated from Newberry High School in 1993 and then attended the University of South Carolina from 1993-1999, earning a B.A. in History and an M.T. in Secondary Social Studies. In 2006, I earned National Board Certification. I began teaching eighth- and ninth-grade at Lexington Middle School in 1999 for one year. I transferred to Lexington High School and taught there for 16 years. This is my third year at BMS. I have taught a variety of history and social studies courses as well as leadership and health classes. I have also coached boys’ B-team, Girls Varsity, and Girls Junior Varsity basketball at Lexington High School. I am the BMS Boys Basketball Coach. I have three daughters: Emma, Julia, and Kate.
