David Halfacre
David is a certified school psychologist, through by the South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) and National Association of School Psychologists (NASP), and a stated-licensed Psychoeducational Specialist (LPES) with 25 years experience working with students aged preschool to college in several counties (Charleston, Aiken, Berkeley, Newberry, and Lexington). David completed his undergraduate and graduate training at The Citadel, with additional coursework completed at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill (UNC-CH) and Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). His professional interests focus on classroom behavior management, social/emotional/behavioral issues, school safety, risk assessment, and learning differences/disabilities. David’s hobbies include parenting two daughters, exercising at the gym, and reading. David is split between schools and district duties for CPI training. He can be found at Beechwood Middle School most Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays and at Pleasant Hill Middle School most Wednesdays and Thursdays.
