• In Lexington County School District One, we are always looking for qualified substitutes to teach our children when our full-time teachers and staff have to be away from the classroom. If you have a passion for educating our youth, you could be one of our substitutes. We encourage you to apply on our website to be a substitute in our growing district.

Complete an online Lexington County School District One Substitute Application in the Employment Portal. Two references must be completed electronically and received for an application to be considered complete. Complete all fields of the application. Incomplete applications will not be considered for review.

    • Documentation of a clear Tuberculin (TB) skin test taken within the last 12 months. You must present this document to attend the training class.
    • Copy of your Social Security card for Benefits and payroll purposes.
    • Copy of educator certification or proof of four year degree (if applicable).

    Please Note:
