Welcome back! My name is Mrs. Heimall, and I’m so excited to be here at WKE. I just know we are going to have an amazing year!

Here is a little bit about me. I have an amazing husband and 4 wonderful children; Kevin (28), Zachary (26), Kaitlyn (24), and Aaron (22). Aaron will be attending the University of South Carolina, so I hope I have a lot of Gamecock fans! Also, you’ll probably hear a lot about my 2 fur babies, Spencer (3) and Lulu (6).

I have been in the field of education for 18 years and have been teaching for 7. This will be my second year teaching 5th grade. I’m a graduate of Kean University, and I’m also an Orton-Gillingham certified teacher and a Structured Literacy/Dyslexia Specialist. I also just received my AVID elementary 3-6 certificate.

During my free time, I enjoy reading, building Legos, hiking, kayaking, and, most of all, hanging out with my family, those with and without fur. I’m very much looking forward to meeting all of you and learning all about you and your families. My goal is for us to become our very own classroom family and have the best year ever!
