I am so excited to be with you all this year! I am truly looking forward to teaching and leading you all through Science of Technology for 6th and 7th grade this year! This will be my first year with Beechwood Middle School and I am so excited to get to know all my students. I received my B.S. degree from Clemson University and my Master’s degree from Virginia Tech. I am certified in Middle Level Science but have worked with youth in elementary, middle, high and college levels! I taught at Virginia Tech for 5 years and was the state leader for the 4-H youth program! 

In my free time, I love spending time with my husband and my son! We love traveling, spending time outside and going to Clemson football games! I am also a certified American Quarter Horse Association judge and love to travel to many different states to judge horse shows. 

I can’t wait to have a blast with you all in the classroom as we work together to research, solve and build projects that will help us explore real world problems!
