Ms. King grew up in Texas and received her undergraduate degree from LSU in Baton Rouge, LA. After a career on Capitol Hill and lobbying for a variety of clients in Washington, DC, Ms. King "retired" to stay home with her children, Caleb and Frawley Grace, who are now aged 20 and 16. Caleb is a sophomore at the University of South Carolina and Frawley is a junior at River Bluff. Ms. King joined the MGMS staff in spring 2022 when she served as a long-term substitute for Mrs. Huey-Clowney's 7th grade social studies class. Ms. King worked at the front desk in the fall of 2022 but missed the classroom and returned to teach 7th and 8th grade Science in the spring of 2023.
