My name is Erin Smith and I am thrilled to serve as a 6th grade Social Studies teacher at Lakeside Middle. I am passionate about building a lasting relationship with my students and families. This is my 17th year of teaching and my 2nd year in Lexington One. I have a B.M. in Music Education, hold an Elementary Education certificate, and have an M.Ed. in Educational Administration. I also have a Gifted and Talented Endorsement.

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Lonnie, and our wonderful son, Jack I also love to sing karaoke, cheer on my USC Gamecocks, and take spontaneous road trips. It's going to be a great year here at Lakeside Middle!
