Science Teacher

My name is Mr. Young and I am enthused to be teaching eighth grade science once again! I am proud of my place as a Lexington Middle School science teacher who moved to the opening staff at Lakeside. I hold a B.A. in Secondary Science Education from Newberry College, where I engaged in multiple fields of study- my favorites being mycology and epidemiology.

When I'm not at Lakeside, I can be found working at various community centers, in the church, or hiking with my dog (Butter) and cat (Percy). I love to write, read, and work through mysteries- it's a fun pass time! I look forward to an amazing year at Lakeside!
