Musical Theatre Director and Intro to Performing Arts Teacher

Hey! I'm Sarah Kate Calcutt and I'm so excited to be at Lakeside Middle School this year! This is my 10th year teaching theatre. I hold a B.A. in Theatre for Youth from College of Charleston and a Masters of Arts in Theatre Education from the University of South Carolina.

When I'm not teaching, you can find me snuggling with my sweet nephew, Malakai, family and friends. I enjoy a good football game (Go Gamecocks!), Saturday morning at Soda City, taking trips, and hanging out on my couch. I'm so excited for an amazing year at Lakeside and can't wait to see what shows up on our stage this year!
