French and World Cultures Teacher

Bonjour! My name is Marbelis Gomez. I am so excited to be part of Lakeside Middle School. Before start working at Lakeside, I worked at Meadow Glen Middle School. I teach 7th grade Immersion Program and French Exploratory for 6th and 8th grade as well. I am from Venezuela and studied to be a French Teacher. Before coming to the USA, I've worked as a teacher for 20 years in my country, in France and in Peru. I hold a Master's Degree in Teaching French and a Doctorate in Modern Languages. In my free time, I love spending time with my husband and son, we watch movies, travel a lot and enjoy knowing people and their cultures. I am looking forward to meeting my students and making them to discover the francophone culture.
