6th Grade School Counselor

My name is Amy Long and I'm so excited to welcome our 6th graders to middle school and serve as their school counselor. This is my 14th year as a school counselor. I am a graduate of Presbyterian College (B.A.) and the University of South Carolina (Ed.S. in Counselor Education) and am certified as a school counselor for grades K-12.

When I'm not here I'm usually spending time with my husband, our two kiddos and our sheepadoodle, Dolly. I love to be outside, ride bikes, play tennis, travel to new places, walk my dog, read books, and eat yummy food! I'm excited to get to know this 6th grade class and hope each student will feel safe and seen when they walk through my door.
