Athletics
Teamwork. Discipline. Resilience.
Lexington County School District One believes in the power of athletics to go beyond the game. Our programs cultivate not just physical fitness, but also a strong sense of community and school pride.
Participation in team sports teaches invaluable lessons in collaboration, communication, and perseverance. These skills extend far beyond the game, shaping our students into well-rounded, goal-oriented citizens prepared for life's challenges.
Lexington One provides athletic opportunities at every level, fostering social and emotional growth alongside academic success. All athletics programs feed into the district's five high schools: Gilbert, Lexington, Pelion, River Bluff and White Knoll.

Middle School Athletics
At Lexington One, our middle school sports programs are designed to nurture a love of athletics while preparing students for the challenges and achievements that await them in high school and beyond.
Our middle school programs introduce students to the fundamentals of various sports, fostering a strong technical base that seamlessly transitions into the high school programs. Through participation in sports, students learn valuable lessons in teamwork, communication, and respect for their peers and coaches. Middle school sports encourage students to develop healthy habits that will benefit them throughout their lives.
Our middle school programs are feeders for our renowned high school athletics programs. By fostering a love for the game and providing a strong foundation, we create a pipeline of talented athletes ready to contribute to Lexington One's winning tradition.

Our goal in Lexington One is for our teams to build a culture of teamwork, resilience, and integrity and for our student-athletes to be the best they can possibly be.
