Assessment and Accountability

Testing Schedules

As you may know, the South Carolina Department of Education announced results from the SC READYEnd-of-Course Examination Program (EOCEP) and SC Career Readiness assessments. These results provide important information about how our students are performing academically and how Lexington One compares across the state. While test scores are only one measure of student success, they help us understand progress and identify areas for continued growth.

“Assessment results reflect the combined efforts of an entire community,” said Dr. Keith Price, superintendent of Lexington County School District One. “I want to thank our teachers, school administrators, instructional staff, students and families for working together every day to ensure our students continue to learn, grow and excel. These results remind us that when we care for, challenge, support, hear, celebrate and prepare one another, great things happen.

“In alignment with Lexington One’s mission and Graduate Profile, we view these assessments as one of many ways to measure our success. Beyond academic performance, our focus remains on preparing students to be confident, capable and future-ready, whether their path leads them to enroll in college, enter the workforce and/or enlist in service to our country.”
