High school students strengthen the skills and habits described in the Lexington One Graduate Profile as they prepare for greater independence. Through academics, athletics, the arts, clubs, leadership, service, Career and Technical student organizations and work-based learning, students learn to lead, collaborate, communicate and respond to challenges.
With support from teachers, school counselors and families, students set goals, make informed decisions and build confidence in their abilities. Along the way, they may earn college credit, industry credentials and experiences that help prepare them for life after high school.
Technology supports that growth. Teachers remain central to instruction as students use digital tools to create, collaborate, solve real-world problems and prepare for success after graduation. Students also build the judgment and responsibility needed to use technology effectively in college, careers and daily life.
