The Communications Office is the bridge between Lexington County School District One and the community it serves. We're dedicated to building strong connections between our district, its amazing students and staff, and the entire community.
What We Do:
- Spreading the Word: We ensure everyone understands the district's mission and celebrate the achievements of our students, staff, and schools.
- Keeping You Informed: We provide timely and accurate information through news releases, newsletters, handbooks, and by answering your questions.
- Advocacy in Action: We champion public education and fight for the resources our schools need to thrive.
- Building Bridges: We foster collaboration between the district, parents, community members, and the media.
- Events and Recognition: We coordinate special events like Teacher of the Year celebrations and retiree banquets.
