2025-2026 Certified Salary Schedules
Lexington One Board of Trustees invests in our employees
The school district’s $401.4 million General Fund Budget for 2025–26 included $12.8 million to implement recommendations of the district’s Salary Study Committee. The approved budget meets every priority set by the Lexington One Board of Trustees, raises the starting teacher salary to $52,000, and aligns all new investments to the three key areas of the district’s strategic plan: academic excellence, positive climate and culture, and stewardship of resources.
Highlights from the Salary Study recommendations funded by the budget:
✔️ Provides fair, consistent pay increases across all steps
✔️ Recognizes employee experience and dedication
✔️ Ensures no employee experiences a decrease in pay as inconsistencies across the certified salary schedule are corrected
✔️ Retains the Bachelor’s +18 classification for certified educators who already hold this certification — even though the state has eliminated it — ensuring continued recognition in 2025–26
