Hard for me to believe, but this is my 31st year in education! Being a school librarian is what I love to do and I could do this 30 more years! I have a Master's of Library and Information Science from the University of South Carolina. I became a school librarian in 1999 at Robert E. Howard Middle School in Orangeburg where I worked until 2012. Before that I taught 3rd and 4th grades in Calhoun County at Guinyard Elementary and Bethlehem Elementary. (Both of those schools don't exist anymore!!! How about that!) I graduated from Columbia College in 1991 with and Elementary Education degree. I came to Saxe Gotha in 2012 and look forward to continuing to serving the Lexington 1 community for many years to come. Outside of school I love spending time with my husband and 3 sons. I love watching and helping coach baseball, being a Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader, camping, being near the water...especially at the BEACH!!!
