My second grade teacher, Mrs. Curtis, was my favorite teacher. She welcomed me, loved me and encouraged me to become anything I wanted. I had dreams of owning a horse farm, becoming a photographer, and a thousand other things, but I always came back to the idea of becoming a teacher like Mrs. Curtis who could inspire others to be the best they could be. Once I graduated high school I went to USC Upstate in Spartanburg and obtained my BA in Early Childhood Education. I met my husband in Chester and now we have two active, loving, creative boys, Connor (10), and Gavin (7) and a rescue Rottweiler mix, Brodie
